Winner + new prize + business at hand

Standard

Winner of the adhesive (Whoops, forgot to draw last week!): Michelle in Texas! E-mail me to claim your prize.

New prize is this: I’ve got a bucket ‘o acrylic stamps, some from companies that no longer exist, all used lightly. I’m going to fill a medium sized flat rate priority box FULL and mail it to someone. Just leave a comment here to be entered, though on this one I have to ask for within USA on this one please, it’s HEAVY and international shipping would be insane.

PRIZE #2: I’ll randomly draw a second winner for a padded envelope with two sheets of Lil Davis (never been used) stamps! They’re discontinued so far as I know, but still way cool. ANYONE – from ANYWHERE can enter this one! SO if you’re not in the USA please just note that in your comment so I can put you into this one.

Now for random curls:

She picked out a 2-piece bathing suit by CartersΒ that is actually like a t-shirt top + short shorts. LOVE the coverage for her delicate skin. The water just makes her curls go berzerk.

Now, for me back to business at hand. Now that I’ve distracted you with offering of freebie stuff, I’ve got some deadlines to catch up to. Later this week? A new creative journey post (still working on it… will be a few days), more layouts, some camp scrap inspired fun, and more…

  6. I sport the same curls…if her hair starts to get too dry due to the pool try getting it wet with regular water and then putting conditioner on it…let the pool water wash it off…helps TONS.

  15. Your daughter is so darn adorable! So May, are you discontinuing using acrylic stamps? I noticed a post (here or somewhere you were a guest) with your rubber wood stamps on a shelf. I loved the stamps you showed so I made note of it :0)

    • I’m not getting rid of them, but I am weeding out a LOT… I find i use my wood-mounted way more – accessibility I think.

  16. You’re doing what I should be doing, and weeding out my stash!! I have too many stamps, paper, border punches, cricut carts, etc.. etc… etc… LOL You have motivated me May!!

    Thanks!
    Kim

PS, and if I should win, that’s OK.. cause we both know I’m not really going to get rid of my scrappy/stampin’ goodness and I can always use more πŸ˜‰

  17. What a sweet picture of your little cutie — love the bathing suit. My daughter’s hair is the same way — long, blondish, and curly.

  18. We haven’t had a curl update for a while πŸ™‚ so thanks! There is a cute curly in my life too so I love to hear the tales (and thankful I’m not the mom who deals with it daily!). Thanks for the chance at stamps. . .I’m in the U.S.

  19. What precious curls & awesome giveaways. I just weeded out my stash so I have room for new goodies! πŸ™‚ Thanks for the chance to win.

  28. Love the curls, love your blog and really enjoyed seeing your scrapbook/crafts room. I would love to win the stamps. I don’t own too many and am getting bored of the ones I have!!

  29. Nice photo! I’m definitely interested in the stamps and if I win, I can save you a bundle on shipping, as I’m less than 10 miles from you and would be happy to pick up.

  30. She’s adorable! I can relate to the curls. Mine go crazy from water too πŸ˜‰ Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

  31. I wish my hair would have even a 1/4 of her curls–all mine does is lay even flatter. I hope she knows she is lucky (and cute too)! Thanks for the giveaways!!

  32. Hi May, thanks so much for the chance to win some yummy stamps! Your daughter’s curls are adorable and she is such a cutie!

  33. She is a gorgeous little girl!! Those curls are just so shirley templesque… Did you used to work for Lil Davis?

    • No, but I worked with Fiskars and taught classes/had give-aways/etc… and I used stamps from all their companies in my assignments. I have some cute Lil Davis ones I just can’t use anymore for my scrappy assignment stuff, so I want to give them new homes!! πŸ™‚

  34. I have had straight hair all my life and as a kid (and as an adult) would have LOVED to have curls like your cute youngest’s got. I bet, when she’s a bit older, she’ll wish she had straight hair, cos that’s the way it goes!

I’m away in NZ, so only #2 for me (but thanks , as always, for the chance to win – your cast-offs will be my treasure).

    • Believe me, I don’t want to send them away, but when stamps have sat 1 – 3 years with no use? They’ve got to go… no matter how cute they are!

  35. My little curly haired angel is away in Mexico finishing college, I appreciate your sharing yours with me and bringing pleasant memories to mind. Augusta, Ga

  36. Your darling curly-haired sweetheart reminded me of my granddaughters who would also LOVE that swimsuit. I’m getting ready to enroll in camp! Sounds like SOOOOO much fun!

  37. I love to see your pictures and layouts. Your daughters and puppy areall so cute.

Thank you for the opportunity to win the stamps.

    Renee from USA

  38. There’s Miss Curlylocks ! So envious of her curly hair ! Both of the girls are adorable and growing so fast !

Thanks for the chance for some stampy goodness!

  39. Thanks for the chance to win! Unfortunately my daughter’s hair doesn’t come even close to looking that cute when wet!!

  40. Love, love, love the curls. we’re from the line of straight hair, but wishing it was curly.

thanks for the chance to win [i also love stamps :)]

    Diana

  41. What a generous give-a-way! If I’m the lucky one, I’d share the stamps with my ATC buds. We’ve been doing quite a bit of sharing our stash lately. I mean do I really need (or will I EVER use) 100 sheets of clip art or 100 shaped paper clips?!? And, both your straight-haired and curly-top girls are adorable!

  42. I love her curls and the bathing suit is adorable!

I just checked out Camp Scrap. It sounds like tons of fun. I had to order a new cc arrives, so as soon as it arrives in the mail, I’m signing up πŸ™‚
