Monday scrappy linkage.

Standard

I love it when plans start coming together. I’m getting my class for Scrapbook U in Fremont, CA (my first ‘in person’ class in 2 years!!) finalized today, and in the meantime I have some project link-age to share:

Today I woke up to find that my guest post for Teresa Collins is up! I love everything that she makes, and working with this line (a line I also work with in Camp Scrap!) was so much fun. I love it when product lines are themed but work for lots of things.

I also did a sketch + layout over the weekend for Scrapbook Update that you can find HERE.

Finally, I forgot to mention a spring article I did – so many fun things to see and ideas to try this time of year. I love it! {link to article}

Next Monday (9th) I’ll be chatting with Sudie of UnKit – more info, time, and link to come. It’s going to be fun – and I’ve got two all new projects to share…

  1. Hi May! I checked out your post w/ Teresa Collins, & I LOVE the flowers! They are on my scrap idea list to use over and over. Simple, but what an impact! Thanks!

  2. Wow! Love the flower and the attached gift card holder. I am so stealing that for a baby girl that was just born to a co-worker. Super cute!

  3. Hi May,
    When are you coming to the Bay Area! I work about 15minutes away from Fremont! I would love to take one of your classes!

  4. That is so sweet-and I am so jealous you have such darling girls to make such pretty things for. Will there be anything in your class I could adapt to dirty, mean boys?

    • Of course!

      A few things – first off I tried to use blues/greens/non-frilly stuff as much as pinks/butterflies/girly stuff. In addition, the lessons and inspiration starters I give are gender neutral!

      For example – the two page sketches can be used for any subject, or when you are encouraged to scrap a specific thing (like something that’s happening today) it’s very open to your interpretation.

      Now I don’t have boys to scrap, so you won’t see many (outside of maybe a few friends or grown men), but the ideas will work for them. Let me know if you have more q’s!

  5. Those flowers are just too cute! You’re getting me more excited for Camp Scrap! enjoy your IRL class – how fun!
