12 days of BPS Christmas

Standard

Big Picture contacted me about contributing to their 12 days of Christmas celebration – and of course I said yes! (You can see the full layout + many other fantastic pages here). I’ve got a prize to share too in this post that is related to this layout…

I’ve got a super fantastic fun class that starts next month that is all about scrapbooking details and special events throughout the year. Not just the obvious like big holidays- but also the details and special traditions and other little things that make our lives and year special. In my world, tree trimming certainly qualifies. Since I have seasonal details on the brain it was fun to have instant scrappy gratification by using photos that were just days old.

The color palette (pinks, reds, aqua, minty green) was soooo fun to play with. I like testing out different holiday color combos.

I adore the  Heidi Grace Christmas line this year, and as a special treat to you I’m giving away a few things that I used to make this layout! Some wish tags, red glass glitter, tags, and more. Want to be entered? Just leave a comment here! The prize now closed- but more to come! Winner announced on 12/21 so be sure to check if you were entered for this!

  1. I can hardly wait for your class to start May! And I saw your layout right away when I got the email from BPS this morning! Yours was the first one that caught my eye! The tag that you used I actually used to make special gift tags last year! I just love it when I can pick out my favorite products in other peoples layouts!

  2. Hi May! I love BPS! I really learned a lot about it from the post you had about the online crop, which was GREAT!

Your LO is beautiful! Thanks for sharing and thanks for this great giveaway!

  3. I love the colors too and the HG line is extraordinary. I really love the things that come out of Heidi Grace lines. I go to Scrapfest every year and I look forward to her classes especially.

  4. Saw your layout in my inbox this morning! Yay! Love it. Still can’t find any of the most recent HG lines here…did manage to get some of the Christmas rub-ons online. Can’t wait to use them!

  5. Signed up for your new class yesterday. I’m going check out those layouts for 12 days of Christmas. The sneak peek looks great. Happy Holidays!

  6. May,

Not sure if you have a die cutting system like the Revolution from QuicKutz but their December release is right up your alleys. My usual spot here in Canada had “mixed reviews” on the dies. Not the usual “cutesy” QK stuff but more Heidi Swapp, chic kind of stuff.

    Loads of DAMASK!

Check it out. Made me think of you right away.

  7. Wow!! Your work is always good (even those little sneak peaks). I can’t wait to see the whole thing!! Thanks for the great RAK!

  8. ‘Seasons’ sounds like a fun class, and just might help me find my scrapping mojo which has been elusive in recent weeks. Our lives really are made up of lots of special moments, aren’t they?

Happy Holidays to you and yours!

  9. Thanks for the opportunity to win, May! And, what a great class idea! I’m definitely checking out the class. We just had our first child and I’m going to need all the help I can get to get his first year scrapbooked! Awesome idea!

  10. Sigh, I just discovered your blog through the 12 days before Christmas with BPS!! Saved to favorites so I can visit often!
    Merry Christmas

  11. I am surprised that I have nto stumbled on your work before now. I love the Christmas layout. The colors are perfect. I have you in my sight now for sure!

  12. Gorgeous stuff! I love that there are so many companies using the pinks and light turquoise along with the more traditional Christmas colors.

  13. I’m loving the pinks and aquas with reds this year, too. They remind me of my childhood – I should pull out some ‘heritage’ shots and scrapbook them.

  14. I can’t tell if this giveaway is still open but I’ll leave a comment anyway. I can’t wait for class to start. I’ve been signed up since the beginning. Is it the end of Jan. yet?

  15. Heidi Grace always comes out with the greatest holiday products. I love how she uses colors that are not always considered CHRISTMAS colors. Love BPS. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
